It’s Salixium again! I want to know how YOU play games. I love playing video games of many variety at any time. Video games have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember both on console and computer. I started playing video games when I was about 8 years old on the original playstation. I had gotten a demo disc of games when we ordered at Pizza Hut one day that had Crash, Tomb Raider, PaRappa the Rapper, and more. This really opened my eyes to more games since before them the only game I played was Motocross Racer. I later got into playing things like Spyro as well. I continued playing console only until a few years later when The Sims came out. My parents bought it for me when it first came out for Christmas. It was then that I started playing on the computer more than anything else and started gaining my love for computers both gaming and fixing them. I continued with these patterns of games until things like DoTA, Diablo 2, and World of Warcraft came out.
Computers are by far my favorite to play on. The games are the same for a lot of consoles and computers. It all depends on what you want to play them on. I feel like I can just control my hands better
with a computer. I can’t really coordinate my hands that well on a controller
. My computer is basically my life and I take a lot of pride in it. I have built and rebuilt it over the years and that’s another reason I love them. Computers can be modified to how you want them. Consoles might have grown on me a little more if I wasn’t so terrible at them though. I do like a lot of the computer only games such as DoTA, League of Legends, Diablo, World of Warcraft, Tibia, etc. They are my kind of games so maybe that is another reason I like playing my computer so much. Computers can be a little more expensive to fix sometimes though which is a downside.
What I want to know is … What do you prefer? I love listening to how people got started playing video games and why they chose one more favorable to the other. I have always loved stories people have of their video games because it really is like another life. People that sometimes find themselves alone in the real world can log onto a video games and everyone knows their name. I love my internet friends and they treat me better than most of my friends that I live around.
